Client: Lion TV
Jump recently teamed up with Lion TV to create the graphics for their new series ‘Make Yourself At Home’.
The 8 part series follows the design and construction of extraordinary self-built homes. The projects take place in different countries around the world – including England, America, Canada, Spain, Morocco, Scotland, Netherlands and Norway.
Jump’s mission was to design the on screen brand and animate a set of graphics including titles, maps and most importantly project explainer sequences. These started by showing the building in a 3D architectural form before leading into 2D floor plans.
David Skinner – Art Director at Jump:
“Our clients wanted us to create a brand that would be visually friendly and easy for both a young and older audience to understand. A lot of the architectural house designs are quite complex. We used a combination of Cinema 4D and After Effects to create a distinctive simple sketched style which is visually really pleasing. We worked with the original architect drawings for each house.”
The series is broadcast on Magnolia Network and streaming on discovery+.
