The Floor with Rob Lowe
Jump was delighted to play a part in the design of the floor graphics for FOX’s new game show The Floor, hosted and produced by Rob Lowe. The series launched at the start of the year.
The Floor is a physical, trivia quiz show that sees 81 contestants face off in quiz duels on a giant LED floor divided into 81 equal squares, each representing its own field of knowledge.
The Floor is produced by Eureka Productions, Talpa and BiggerStage.
Jump liaised closely with ionoco who were handling the game electronics for the gameplay.

“We designed and animated the look of the floor which included idle and active states of play, a ‘takeover’ animation for when one player’s area takes over another and also an animated, full-floor ‘randomiser’ for the start of the game. We delivered uncropped, full-floor size textures and animations that were layered and masked as appropriated by IONOCO to achieve the end result.”
