The opening act of Channel 4’s ‘Summer of Sport’ was the London 2017 World Para Athletics Championships.
Our brief was to create an exciting, memorable opener that was driven by the city of London and the legacy of London 2012 Paralympics. Jump’s winning solution was to hang giant flags bearing images of our sporting heroes on iconic buildings around London, acting as a super celebratory welcome home. Action clips of the athletes are interspersed throughout the titles acting as flashbacks to their moments of glory.
