UEFA’s 2021 Season’s Greetings Video
In the run up to Christmas, the lovely team at Shoot The Company approached Jump to help them create UEFA’s 2021 Season’s Greetings Video.
UEFA sends the video to its clients and posts it on their social media channels.
Our mission was to bring Shoot The Company’s creative concept to life and turn a collection of football archive shots into a fun, festive, snowball fight taking place on the pitch. Famous players from all countries are seen kicking, heading and throwing snowballs, as well as a few great slides into piles of snow. The piece exudes fun, charm & inclusivity.

“Most of the snowball effects were made in After Effects using a particle simulator. The team modelled a few different snowballs in C4D to add some variation. We used C4D’s tracker to place snowballs and snowball-piles into the archive shots. A lot of the time though, we were able to manually track snowballs into players’ hands. The snow slides were the most complex scenes. We had to track heaps of snow into the existing footage and make it look like the footballers were sliding into them. Great fun though.”
