Client: Asia Football Group
Asia Football Group (AFG) set Jump the task of creating on-screen design packages for three newly branded AFC Premier Club Competitions.
AFC Champions League Elite, AFC Champions League Two and AFC Women’s Champions League.
The deliverables include a comprehensive set of Multilateral and Unilateral on-screen match graphics used for live broadcasts, pre and post-games and for studio highlights which also includes Opening and Closing sequences, Bumpers and a Replay Wipe for each of the three competitions.
Aaron Randell – Designer at Jump:
“Our ideas for the animations and designs stem from the brand new trophies made for each competition. We’ve used the trophy shapes to create lines of light that directly drive the motion of our graphics.”
AR: “In the opening and closing sequences we use the lines of light in different ways. For the Champions League Elite sequences the lines appear around action shots of players. The movement of the shots, skills and celebrations are emulated in the lines.”
AR: “In the Champions League Two sequences, the lines are used to create footage windows to house the football action.”
AR: “For the Women’s Champions League we wanted to do something quite different because the branding for this competition is distinct from the other two. Instead of the lines of light we have used the brand shapes themselves to move and create scenes for every team in the tournament.”
AR: “These three new AFC Premier Club Competition brands have resulted in a very fresh look for each of their match graphics. They have a particularly organic feel to them.”
