Clients: Wall to Wall
Jump has designed the graphics for Wall to Wall’s new ITV1 series ‘Born From The Same Stranger’ narrated by Davina McCall.
The series follows a group of people who were conceived by donors as they unite with a host of brothers and sisters or track down anonymous donors who never imagined they could be found.
Their detective work is supported every step of the way by DNA technology, professional genealogists and intermediaries and a specially created social media community of donor conceived contemporaries, many of whom have already pursued their own searches.
Sally Benton – Executive Producer at Wall to Wall:
“Since working with Jump, I’ve been recommending them to anyone and everyone! They were not only creative and thoughtful as they grasped the editorial content and tone but also reliable, conscientious, organised and just delightful to work with.”
Lee Jacobs – Senior Art Director at Jump:
“Because the title of the show doesn’t mention DNA, we wanted the logo to feature marks and colours that are commonly associated with the most popular DNA testing services. Our overriding aim was to simplify what is an inherently complex subject matter and develop a shorthand design system to keep the viewers engaged with the unfolding narrative.”
Becky Clacey – Designer at Jump:
“The whole team at Wall To Wall were a joy to work with. We established a really collaborative relationship from the outset. They provided us with a precise time coded script detailing exactly what they wanted on each message. We were able to flex as the episodes took shape in the edit.”
For the series, Jump delivered A3 printed family trees, message sequence animations, group creation animations and name straps.
