Client: CONMEBOL
CONMEBOL (CONfederación SudaMEricana de FútBOL) is the governing body of South American football.
It is made up of ten Member Associations; Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
It is responsible for the organisation and governance of the main international South American soccer tournaments – among which are the CONMEBOL Libertadores, the CONMEBOL Sudamericana and the CONMEBOL Recopa.
Jump was commissioned to design and develop a new TV graphics package for each of those three tournaments.
The deliverables included opening title sequences and a full broadcast toolkit that was consistent in logic and structure across each tournament.
Harry Handyside – Art Director at Jump:
“Our core concept throughout was putting the brand at the forefront of the visual narrative and allowing a simple and accessible read on the brand assets and information within the TV Graphics.
The broadcast packages had to be consistent. We worked on CONMEBOL Libertadores first, developing and approving each item of delivery before reskinning into the other two events. Our method was to create the original package to be easily editable. We could then change the brand palette and logos quickly and efficiently.”
