Client: LFA and Willow Foundation
The London Football Awards 2023 once again took over the London Roundhouse for a celebratory evening. The event which was set up by Arsenal goalkeeping legend, Bob Wilson, raises funds to benefit Willow, the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days.
Jump was first appointed as the official graphics supplier for the London Football Awards back in 2020.
Jump creates all of the graphics for the event and we are proud to sponsor the EFL (English Football League) Player of the Year Award. Congratulations to this year’s winner, Paul Smyth of Leyton Orient. The lovely Mrs. Norley was thrilled to be on stage to help present the award.
Callum O’Reilly – Senior Designer at Jump:
“We were tasked to give the graphics a refresh. We had a collection of great football 3D models to make use of – from boots to goalkeeper gloves. We decided to really hone in on the brand colour scheme by making everything green and combining the 3D objects with some bold 2D designs.
For the title sequence, we used motion capture data to create a selection of football action shots. Interestingly though, we only used the depth matte from the 3D renderer which gives the piece an ethereal, intimate viewpoint of the action. We thought this was suitable, as the awards are about celebrating individuals.”
